Launch of Project SMARTey

After 3 years researching “Musculoskeletal Health: Working practices and environments in the UK Early Years sector” as a project partner with Alistair Turvill, Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Studies and Professor David Sheffield, Director of Professional Services at University of Derby, Lorna is delighted to announce, due to the compelling study results and wide potential application of the research findings, the University of Derby have launched a research showcase page: https://www.derby.ac.uk/research/showcase/musculoskeletal-health-early-years-workforce/

The research study investigates the relationships between early years roles, environments and musculoskeletal (MSK) health, and how these may relate to taking time off work and considering changing jobs.

We very much look forward to further development and application of this research, the first of its kind in the UK early years education sector.
